Summary
As Vegas Corporation's Safety Coordinator, you will oversee complete adherence to industrial, occupational health, and safety regulations throughout our engineering and steel fabrication operations. You will identify workplace dangers, oversee safety inspections, enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), and create a culture that prioritises equipment safety and zero incidents while directly reporting to plant management.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine risk and hazard analyses for material handling, crane operations, and hot work (welding, cutting).
Key Skills
a track record of success in industrial health and safety, ideally in manufacturing, structural steel activities, or metal fabrication.
working familiarity with OSHA regulations, fire safety procedures, and regional industrial safety rules.
practical knowledge of crane/rigging safety, machinery guarding, and hot work permits.
ANEBOSH, IOSH, or an Industrial Safety diploma are examples of certifications.
